THE EASY CLEANSE FROM @CRUJUICE IN YYC

I couldn’t think of better way to kick start a new year than treating my body to a Real & Raw Easy Juice Cleanse from Cru Juice Inc. here in Calgary. Tim, my mother in law and I decided to do one for three days before Christmas Eve and I honestly am so grateful we did.   This was obviously not a method to lose weight; it was more of a way to kick start my body to recover from some of the junk we had been consuming and make better choices throughout the holiday season.

These past couple of years have been extremely stressful and I found I wasn’t coping as effectively as I have been able to in the past. The emotional up’s and downs coupled with the fertility meds had made making healthier choices even harder than normal.

Before doing the cleanse I was feeling groggy, bloated and fatigued (which usually happens when I don’t eat as healthy as I normally do) so I was super excited to give my body a reboot. Overall, we were absolutely pleased with our experience and I felt relieved of my bloating and just eager to make healthier choices.

Cru Juice has easily become one of our favourite raw juice bars and I find us always stocking up with options in our fridge for a quick and delicious snack. This, however; was our first time doing one of the cleanses.
It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and I’m sure many of you saw on snapchat the delicious variety I had been drinking but you can see more of their options on their site. My absolute favourites have always been Pump It Up and Ménage Trois—both included in the cleanse.  

We have always found the juices to be absolutely delicious and during the 3 days we didn’t find ourselves feeling hungry or deprived at all.  If you’re looking for a way to begin healthier habits in the New Year and just give your body a break I would highly recommend one of Cru Juice’s Cleanses.

I don’t usually make goals when it comes to eating because I feel living a healthy balanced lifestyle is what makes me the happiest but another cleanse is definitely in my near future. I can almost assume Tim will be right there with me again. I think having someone to do it with makes the whole experience even more enjoyable (not to mention easier).  If a cleanse isn’t something you can see yourself doing then I wouldn’t let this stopping you from giving any of their juices a try.  My favourite thing about Cru Juice Inc. is that even though their juices are extremely nutritious they don’t taste overly “hippie” as Tim would define some of my food choices.
