HOLIDAY BRUNCH: PJ PARTY TOY DRIVE FOR THE ALBERTA CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
Merry Christmas week beautiful humans! I can’t even believe It is already here. I’m going into this holiday season feeling a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders after being able to share our story with you all. I am still so honoured to have this platform as a way of connecting on a deeper level with each of you. I honestly feel that is what life is about; being less superficial, and connecting with stronger more meaningful relationships. It was certainly the most difficult thing I have ever done but I am so happy I did. It’s impossible for me not to feel so much gratitude. The stories I have read and the conversations I have had have most definitely changed me. They’ve made me want to live better. So Thank You again, for all of your support, confiding in me and allowing me to get real. These past two years have been very hard, nearly impossible to be honest, and running my blog was a huge challenge for me. Being able to share that with all of you has definitely helped me heal a little bit because I wanted you all to know that our Instagram lives are as perfect as we create them to be. I want to live on a more relatable level with you all, it just feels more honest.
We decided to host a brunch with some of our closest friends as a way to get everyone together and celebrate the holiday season. It was our wish to spread a little Christmas love so we asked all of our friends come with an unwrapped gift in hand to donate to the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Everyone gathered around in their coziest pj’s, eating delicious (and to their surprise vegan) food, chatting over some simple sips. I am absolutely honoured to be surrounded by the most selfless humans and their generosity will make all the difference to little kiddies on Christmas Morning. We managed to grab a photo with some of the girls at the end of the morning and I think its a tradition we want to continue for years to come. Here are some snaps from our special morning together. I hope you all have the most amazing Christmas this year.
