UPDATE: 24 WEEKS + GENDER REVEAL VLOG

Hello Beautiful People!

I’m 24 weeks today..I can’t even believe it.  I remember those early days when they were telling us our little bun wasn’t going to make it and feeling like my world was coming to an end.  Now, I feel feelings I didn’t even know were possible.  It’s been surreal being able to share this journey with you all, those struggling, those surviving and those who can’t relate at all but still choose to support and love us anyway.  We are so grateful.

So heres an update on how I’ve been doing:

How far along? 24 weeks!

How big is the peanut? The size of a cantaloupe! 

Nicknames? Pupo + little bun

Total weight gain/loss? loss…haha I wish! Post Ivf 12 lb gain.

Maternity clothes? Nope. I refuse at the moment but that is only because it’s summer time. I’m sure if I had to be wearing pants I would be feeling differently.

Sleep? I’m sleeping perfectly. Waking up at 5:30 every morning to pee though but fall asleep just as easily.  I switched sides with Tim on the bed so I could be laying on my left because for a while there  I was waking up short of breath on my back in the middle of the night. I also wanted baby to be on my side and I refuse to put her bassinet or anything under the window because it’s very cold during our winter when she’ll be born and I’m worried about radiation heat loss..it’s the postpartum nurse in me.

Best moment this week? ahhh. Every second with her inside of me is the best moment. I think just having others be able to feel her now is pretty special. I love how I can turn on any country music and she’ll immediately start moving. Melts my heart, little nugget loves country like her mommy!

Symptoms? Honestly, nothing much.

Food cravings? None.  Kinda sweet things but this is also a summertime thing for me so I’m not sure. Nothing to crazy. Oh, and salt and vinegar every things.

Food aversions? Not any more..THANK goodness. 

Belly button in or out? In. Sad.  I’ve wanted it to stick out but I don’t think it will.

What I miss? Ok, I kindaaaa miss beer on a patio during the summer or champagne and wine at weddings we’ve been going to. But that only lasts for a hot second and I remember why I’m not drinking them and everything feels amazing.

Who else is most excited?  I would say you guys!!!! Every single day you all send me messages and snapchats asking how I am and how I’m doing and ask for bump updates and that is just so special to me.

What I’m looking forward to? Meeting this little bun.

Nursery done? Not yet! We are getting there though.  Things are slowly starting to roll in and we will do a video blog about it once it’s done. So make sure you have us on YouTube.

Tim and I have had so much fun putting together little videos for our baby girl to watch one day.  From the hardest most trying days of our lives to finally living our dream.  I’ll be sure to add them to my blog once they are completed but here is the one from our gender reveal in case you missed it!
