Christmas is certainly one of the most magical times of year and when you throw a new little baby into the celebrations–nothing seems more wonderful. We are so excited for our first Christmas with Harlow and cannot wait to create traditions with her for the years to come. Having a baby girl makes me even more excited to decorate for Christmas and making our home cozy for the winter. There is nothing better than the joy and love of spending time with family during this time of year.
We love snuggling up in font of our cozy fireplace on these cold winter nights with our mugs of vegan hot chocolate in hand so decorating this area is easily my favourite. There is something so traditional about stockings being hung, a garland dangling and the smell of fresh winter greens filling the room.
Creating a beautiful space for the holidays doesn’t have to be overly stressful and I personally love when it complements your existing home style, which is exactly why there is lace on my Christmas tree. I like to stick to a neutral palate even when it comes to my winter decor because it’s what I love the most. I tend to add pops of colour is my front doorstep and this allows me to feel a little more festive.
Etsy has to be my favourite place to collect pieces from that are unique and timeless and I’m excited to hand them down to Harlow one day. I love how I can almost always find what I’m looking for and am able to narrow my search in order to shop locally. Some of my favourite finds this year are the little mitten garland, christmas wood sign, lace garland on the tree and some of the vintage ornaments. I’ve linked all of my favourites up above so make sure to click the links if you want to see where everything is from.
Thank you for stopping by, absolutely love having you here. Hugs, E xo
