Mascara

Some of the top questions I get asked are: what are my favourite everyday mascaras, and how I get my lashes to look so long? What I have learned is that the secret is in the product you choose. I’ve been there before; unsure of which mascara to buy, Will I like it? Will it give me the look I’m going for? I can’t help but share my love for Revlon’s new wide range of mascara where there is a fit for every occasion and a lash for whatever look you might be looking for.

I love a light eye with just a dash of mascara when I’m running around, but when I’m going out and dressing up for the night I want a lot more volume and depth. Revlon has just released 5 new mascara formulas including volume, length, definition, volume and length, and an all-in-one. I decided to give them all a try and I’m certain you’ll be sure to find the one you love that’s perfect for what you need.

First off, the Ultimate All-in-One touts five must-have features (count ‘em: volume, length, definition, lift and intense colour!) for a super high-impact look. Its hollow cored mini brush evenly deposits the formula and reaches every last lash – yes, including the hard-to-reach inner corners!

From there, the Ultra Volume (pink cap) boasts a triple grooved brush with multi-length bristles and conditioning, clump-free formula for a perfectly plumped lash.

Then there’s the Super Length (green cap) mascara with a great lengthening formula that easily glides over the lash for a glamorous, extended look. This one features a tapered brush tip (again, perfect for those hard-to-reach areas!) and long side bristles to give you added length.

Next is my personal fave, the Volume + Length Magnified (blue cap)! This is a high-shine fibre formula that delivers boosted fullness and length, and, paired with their magnifying square lash brush, rivals your best set of falsies.

And last but certainly not least is the Dramatic Definition (purple cap). With tiered bristles, the lash-separating brush coats every last lash for a bold clump-free final look. Pro tip: Layer it on top of your favourite formula for an added boost of definition!

Each type has a different brush to really help you get the look you’re going for. Two things I personally look for in a mascara are lots of volume and added length since my eyes are pretty dark to start with. I love how both the Ultra Volume and Volume + Length Magnified were able to give me exactly what I like especially when taking photos for my blog so my eyes stand out or going out for a night on the town. I tend to appreciate having options and variety and this line has been meeting all of my mascara desires. Not only is Revlon making shopping and choosing the perfect product for you, so much easier, but it allows you to pick up more than one mascara so you can be prepared for whatever look you’re going for no matter the occasion.
