APPLE PIE OATMEAL
Day 14! Making oatmeal for breakfast for a tiny bean who isn’t really good with a spoon sounds like a disaster, and while it kind of is, it is also a really healthy meal for her. I love adding in fruit, chia seeds, hemp hearts, nuts and fortified almond milk. She is getting better with a spoon but it is mostly cavewoman style around here–which I’m okay with. We will literally just put it right into her bowl and she’ll use her sweet little hands to feed herself.
This apple pie oatmeal resembles apple pie so much and is completely added sugar free if you want it to be (we always give it to lo without sugar). Not because I’m a patchouli sniffing granola but because she loves it without sugar so why add it in. We are completely judge free over here and if a little maple syrup helps your babe eat their oats then go for it. I can’t wait to hear what you guys think about it. We absolutely love this series and sure hope you are too. Biggest hugs, e xo.
