I have been in nesting mode for the past couple of weeks and one of the top things on my list was freshening up our master bedroom for fall. I know we will be having a lot of people coming over to visit once baby is born and I wanted a space that felt refreshed and welcoming. Of course I knew Anthropologie would be my first stop and I couldn’t resist their Fall Home Journal and all the added touches our room was so desperately needing. The bedding collection is to die for and my absolute favourite part of the journal.
I generally desire a neutral palette and find adding layers to my bed can create texture and depth to an other wise plain look. The pieces themselves are already textured (which is amazing) but I feel it doesn’t hurt to add a little more. I’m crazy over this Rivulets Quilt and felt it complemented the Georgina Duvet perfectly. I love it so much, we even got a matching baby bedding for the crib. I did the exact same thing with layering textures with the euro shams in order to create a deeper look, the mixed fabrics helped me get the exact look I was wanting.
Of course, no space of mine would ever be complete without some floral and lace touches. I wanted to add this Lulie Wallace Cascabel Sheet Set for a unique touch and couldn’t resist the beautiful colour combination. These lace trim curtains are everything and I especially like how they actually keep the light out making for a better sleep environment for babe (and us!).
If you’re looking to freshen up any space in your home for fall, you absolutely have to take a peak at the Fall Home Collection, it’s gorgeous!
